How to Have Difficult Conversations
In today’s dynamic and often polarized world, the ability to engage in difficult conversations is more crucial than ever. Misasha presents a keynote talk designed to equip you with the practical tools and strategies needed to handle challenging discussions with confidence and empathy. We won't just talk about these conversations, we'll practice having them, so that everyone will walk away feeling empowered to speak up more, listen better, and learn about each other as a result.
Multiethnic Storytelling: Building Bridges through Bridging Cultures
How can multiracial Americans, and those who love, know, support, and work with them, navigate identity and belonging in a world full of societal stereotyping and questions of authenticity? What if we highlighted the unique strengths and perspectives that multiracial/multiethnic individuals bring to various domains, including creativity, problem-solving, and cross-cultural understanding? Through storytelling, questions, and personal narratives, Misasha teaches us about our shared humanity and celebrates the various multiracial identities in our diverse country from a first person perspective.
The Power of Precedent: Legal Foundations for a Hopeful Future
In a world often divided by uncertainty and change, the law offers us a powerful tool to not only navigate the present but to inspire a brighter tomorrow. Through connecting the dots between law and hope, Misasha will explore how legal precedents—past decisions that shape the current and future landscape—serve as beacons of hope, illustrating humanity’s capacity for progress, justice, and resilience. We'll also explore how each of us can "do something more", be it legal in nature or not, to reinforce the concept of hope as an action.
